#Nvidia's GeForce Now is coming to cars.

At #CES2023 Nvidia revealed that the GeForce Now game streaming service is coming to cars from Hyundai, Polestar and BYD.

Passengers and, when parked, drivers can connect controllers and play AAA games.

Even though gaming in cars might sound weird, more and more companies are bringing games to their cars. For example, BMW cars support the AirConsole multiplayer game service, while Tesla recently added support for Steam to Tesla Arcade.

This is #Acer's new innovative desk.

Called the eKinekt BD 3, the new desk, which was revealed at #CES2023, also features an exercise bike for a healthier lifestyle.

And that's not all: spinning the pedals will generate electricity. One hour of exercise at 60 RPM will generate 75 watts of electricity, which can be used to charge a laptop, phone or another device.

The eKinekt features an adjustable table and has 2 modes: Sports Mode, where the desk is further forward for more room for exercise, and Working Mode, where the desk is closer to the user for more comfortable typing. The desk also has an app which tracks riding distance, speed and calories burned.

The new desk will be available in June, at $999.

The #LG Gram Ultrathin is, as the name suggests, ultra thin - in fact it's one of the thinnest laptops on the market.

At 10.99 mm (0.49 in), it's slightly thinner than both the #Galaxy Book2 Pro and #Apple MacBook Air.

The company has also updated the regular Gram 14, 15, 16 and 17 with 13th Gen #Intel CPUs, the #Nvidia RTX 3050, support for Dolby Atmos and variable refresh rate.
#LG extends it's popular Gram line of laptops at #CES2023, with the Gram Ultrathin and Gram Style.
#Volkswagen lights up the road with the ID.7.

The new car, shown off at #CES2023, has a multi-color pixelated finish that can change from red to blue and light up on command. The lighting can be synchronized to music.

The company also switched to a digital, smart air conditioning system. When the driver approaches the car on a cold day, the car will automatically heat up the interior, or cool it down on hot days.

The car has around 700 kilometers of range, and will go into production in 2026.

#Sony's new controller makes PlayStation more accessible.

Project Leonardo, announced at #CES2023, is a pair of strange looking circular controllers, designed for accessibility like the Xbox Adaptive Controller.

Each controller has an analog joystick and supports up to 8 buttons. Accessibility devices such as switches and pedals can be connected to every button. Project Leonardo can also be used with a traditional PlayStation controller.

Currently not much is known about the accessible controller.

#microsoft's new #AI model can closely imitate your voice.

Unlike other text to speech models, company's VALL-E neural network can analyze a recorded voice, converting it to tokens, and generate it's closest prediction on how the voice would read given text based on the tokens.

Thanks to this, the model only needs 3 seconds of a voice to closely imitate it, including the speed and emotional patterns.

Microsoft isn't planning to release it as it could be misused to impersonate people. However, such a model also has legitimate uses, like dubbing movies or TV series into another language using the original actors' voices instead of separate voice actors for every language.

#apple will launch Apple Music and Apple TV+ apps in the #microsoft Store, and have announced an integration between iCloud Photos and Windows 11's Photos app.
#Apple have launched 3 new apps for Windows.

As promised at Microsoft's Build conference last year, Apple have launched Apple TV and Music apps on the Microsoft Store, for Windows 11. The new apps look a lot like their macOS counterparts and offer the same features.

And, to replace the device management features offered by iTunes, the company has launched a new "Apple Devices" app (in the picture), offering the same features as iTunes did for managing Apple devices. Its files also contain a reference to "xrOS", the OS rumored to power Apple's upcoming XR headset.

The new apps are still in beta. They can be found in the Microsoft Store, or downloaded from these links: Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Devices.

Correction: an earlier version of this post claimed that the apps are also available for Windows 10, which is incorrect.
This is everything we know about #apple's XR headset.

As "Reality Pro", Apple's long-awaited XR headset, gets closer to launching, more and more information about it has leaked. Keep in mind that most of the details below are rumors, since Apple is pretty secretive about the project.

The company's XR headset will be aimed at developers. It reportedly will work both as an AR and VR headset, with a Digital Crown-like dial to switch between the modes, and be built of premium materials like aluminum, the same rubber used in Apple Watch bands and carbon fiber.

On the technical side, it will likely be powered by an M2 chip, and feature an H2 chip for low-latency connection to AirPods. The headset will have a 4K display with a 120-degree FOV, and likely an external display for displaying the user's facial expressions too. It will have many cameras for lifelike AR, hand and eye tracking, a LiDAR system for scanning rooms and an iris scanner.

The operating system powering the headset is likely called "xrOS", as confirmed by the Apple Devices app for Windows. Planned XR apps include a version of Messages with VR chat rooms and a FaceTime-like feature using Memoji. For gaming the company is said to have partnered with Unity.

It's rumored to be unveiled in the spring, ahead of WWDC, with a rumored price of $3000.
