What is the course?
This is a 3 part 6-8 hour course covering Uloom ul Qur-aan topics through a classical poem. Saturdays 10A-12P CST

What book/text are we studying?
The poem is called Manzoomat uz Zamzami named after Imam AbdulAzeem Zamzami (d.976H/1568H) who wrote this poem based on Imam asSuyooti's book on 'uloom ul Qur-aan called Nuqaaya.

The poem is 158 couplets cover 55 topics under 6 subjects.

Who is the instructor?
Sh Dr Mamdouh is a graduate of alAzhar and recently completed his PhD. He is a long time resident and scholar in the Houston community. Currently he serves as the Resident Scholar of Masjid Al Salam ISGH Champions.

_Sarf_ is a subject in Arabic language that looks at different types of words and how they are formed and how they should be conjugated along with the meanings they convey. This along with Grammar ( _Nahw_) are considered the 2 main foundations on which learning the Arabic Language is based.
