Can you imagine having so much to hide, you need to create laws just to avoid being caught?
That would be true "privilege".

The greatness of a life can only be estimated by the multitude of its actions. We should not count the years, it is our actions which constitute our life.
Music is a secret and unconscious mathematical problem of the soul.
Nothing is accomplished all at once, and it is one of my great maxims, and one of the most completely verified, that Nature makes no leaps: a maxim which I have called the law of continuity.
A great doctor kills more people than a great general.

This fantastic corner building sits on #NewburghSt/#GantonSt, #Carnaby, #London & highlights just how grand the place could look. What looks to be 18th century architecture, still shines bright. Reminds me of the #LambethEstate in South #London with streets such as #RoupellSt.

On this day:
In 1865, the great English novelist and Poet Joseph Rudyard Kipling was born. He was, like many great britions of the 19th century, born in India: Bombay, to be exact.
After an early career as a local Jornalist, Kipling would go on to write many greatly loved and admired pieces of English Literature, including but not limited too: The Jungle Book duology (The Jungle Book, 1894; The Jungle Book 2, 1895), Kim (1901) and The Just So Stories (1902).
He also merits a prominent and everlasting place in the history of English poetry. Penning such great poems as Mandalay (1890), Gunga Din (1890), The Gods of the Copybook Headings (1919), The White Man's burden, and If- (1910).
Let's hope that his memory remains immortal; just like his wonderful works.

This Haute design right beside BoroughMarket is a stunning townhouse which was once part of the former #Anchor Brewery which once sat behind the Anchor Bankside (@ABankside) pub. Today it sits proudly, despite it's surroundings.
