A great lesson I took from my father and others alike was to move on from petty or unimportant disputes due to the overarching acknowledgement of what's more important. Most deserve nothing, whislt some deserve everything.

I'm sad to announce that the Ordnance (#Arsenal) pub in #Woolwich, #London, #SE18, has been closed with a repossession notice attached outside. The pub was certainly rough around the edges, but it served an important purpose. The area has heavily declined post its modernization.

Most of my male family members were injured, mentally changed or killed during the world wars. Some even died of their wounds after arriving home. Gassed, shot and maimed they returned to their coal mines only to die in further disasters.
