Too many aslo confuse one's ability to go without as a form of down to earth normality. In reality we should have the ability to admire Western art/opulence/brilliance.

To this day, despite having lived in and around a city my whole life, I honestly don't think I've met more than a couple of unhappy idiots. The saying "ignorance is bliss" has far more credibility in the real world than most people tend to fathom.
