Ghost #Hovis sign on #BarkingRoad in #CanningTown/#Plaistow. Signs like this are still hanging all over London, for now.

I wonder how many university types have realised they were only sent there to study submissive liberalism as opposed to getting ahead in life.

Will a human ever love you in life, as a Dog loves you in death? It fills me with woe to think that (some) animals display far more natural loyalty than humans. Sometimes, it feels that our ability to talk hasn't brought us together, but driven us apart.

The final sunset of the 90s is enough to snap the strongest of hearts. 🌇

It's hard to fathom how many wonderful people we've left behind. However, one thing we can be sure of is that a great many from our past were too far good for today's world.

The Moel Hebog shield (Welsh: Tarian Moel Hebog) or Moel Siabod shield is a large copper-alloy Yetholm-type shield from Bronze Age Britain. Found in a bog near Moel Hebog mountain, #Wales (1784), it dates from 1300–1000 BC, making it a true western relic.

From my trip to the British Museum (all images taken by me)

The #Waterloo Helmet/Waterloo Bridge Helmet was found in the River Thames (1868) by Waterloo Bridge, #London. Another amazing pre-Roman #Celtic relic. This bronze ceremonial horned helmet dates back to 150–50 BC.

#Banksy is a talentless T0$$3R, who works with the state. What kind of "rebel" has a wife who works with Soros and has their awful art protected by the state? Art is a depiction of our greatness. Thus, people like Banksy represent our downfall. It's time to clean his filth away.

Just because you fill something up doesn't mean it isn't empty.

A nostalgic view from the greatest river on earth, the river #Thames, #London. The city, like our spirit, seems to have very much changed for the worse. #RIP London.

Considering taking up private (historical) tours of #London and some of it's public houses. I wouldn't advertise much and most would take place through word of mouth but I'll make the public aware every now and then.

They reflect sincerely the emotions of the attractive community which invented them. They present us a picture of a people who expressed themselves without coarseness and grossness; who disliked cruelty, especially to small things, such as children and animals; who had great fellow feeling and strong sympathies even with evil-doers; who had a keen sense of the nobility of their heroic ancestors, and the beauty of the land they had inherited; and who were possessed of a sharp interest in and appreciation of their own countryside- a peaceful, industrious, and tolerant folk.

Frederick Grice, storyteller and RAF Flight Lieutenant, reflects on the nature of English folk tales. 1944.
