We'll never truly know how much we mean to them.

This one got me. The pureness of the child destroys the falsehood of the show whilst simultaneously highlighting societies flaws. The man helplessly breaks character, which I find deeply moving. Why should it be up to a child to point out that which should be obvious to adults.

@ChelseaDan5 rightfully highlighted to myself (@VinnieSull1van), the drastic changes that have taken place in #Brentford. #GriffinPark was once the home to a stadium that was enclosed by lovely terrace housing. A unique & special pub world existed around the old stadium which we discuss in the video.
The new stadium offers little joy in comparison with the old and highlights both the importance of pubs and football and how they're so indebted to each other.
The wonderful @TheGriffin_TW8 welcomed us & allowed us to film in their stunning public house. More of the #Griffin pub will be released in a separate video where we will thank them once again. For a higher quality edition please click the You Tube link below. We have more #Brentford footage on the way. π π»

A stele was retrieved from the sunken ancient Egyptian city of Heracleion located at the bottom of the ocean. Heracleion, also known as Thonis, was an influential and prosperous port city during the Late Period of ancient Egypt.
As time passed, various factors such as land subsidence, rising sea levels, and natural disasters caused the gradual sinking of the city into the Mediterranean Sea.
For centuries, the knowledge of Heracleion's existence was limited to historical texts and ancient references. The city's existence became shrouded in myth and legend, with doubts arising regarding its actuality. @fasc1nate

#OnThisDay on the 7th March 2020, #Brentford would play their final match at Griffin Park (whilst fans were present before #Lockdown.) Today marks the fourth anniversary of the final match which saw a 5β0 Championship win over Sheffield Wednesday. #RIP π

If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.
To be ignorant of what occurred before you were born is to remain always a child. For what is the worth of human life, unless it is woven into the life of our ancestors by the records of history?
Books are more than books. They are the life, the very heart and core of ages past, the reason why men worked and died, the essence and quintessence of their lives.
To make a mistake is only human; to persist in a mistake is idiotic.

This glorious image was taken in 1928, #London was hit by major flooding, the river #Thames had reached what's believed to be its highest point, causing up to 14 deaths. A storm in the 'North-Sea' took the blame, while the people of London, took the initiative. #WeAreWhoWeAre

In all my years sat through mundane, pointless history lessons in school, never ONCE did they display the arguments, viewpoints, or needs of our so called, "opposition". In fact, the curriculum seemed far more interested in social manipulation than the risky business of "education".

Just because a "#pub" is still open doesn't make it a real public house. Throughout time, pubs were places for the poor & wealthy alike to seek cheap refuge among others, obtaining much needed social interaction & forming community bonds. "Gastropubs" are the polar opposite.
