This pub (built in 1909) was situated at 17 Jutland Road, #Plaistow & closed for the last time in 2010/11. It's since become a mosque with no hope of returning. Another of the endless losses to east London's pub scene & history.

In the 30's and 40's we bombed each others cities into oblivion only for the unsubtle stages of damaging development to progress through the 60's & 80's, inevitably leading to the deliberate hell we call the 21st century.
