On masculinity: a critical analysis

Preliminary: what is gender?

In order to analyse what masculinity means and has denoted historically, we must first analyse the concept of 'gender' and whether or not it is synonymous with 'sex'.

Sex is easy to define. I.e a biological taxonomy that denotes whether a specimine is female or male, based purely on the corresponding reproductive parts.

However, gender is more complex. As for the sake of argument and utility, gender refers to the psychological aspect of a biological organisms corresponding sex. I.e Masculinity corresponds with being male, vice versa conceding females.

Yet due to the abnormalities present in psychological behaviours, one could best describe gender as being the normative behaviours corresponding to the sex of the organism. While this seems to resolve the issue, one must remember that due to a series of reasons one may not behave in a way that is the norm for their sex

Hence why a biological male can show stronger signs of a feminine gender, yet still be a man. This could explain why many ancient cultures viewed being a man or woman as requiring a journey of becoming. As one can be born a female yet act with a masculine disposition, a disposition that illsuits womanhood.

This might also explain why some cultures had a conception of a third gender, one in which the disparity between the biological sex and psychological gender of a certain individual is too great for them to be considered a man or woman respectfully.

One cannot shrugg of these issues either, as hiding a problem usually makes it worse. Otherwise, we end up where we are currently, where absurdity reigns under the false tag of acceptance by individuals that care nothing for reason or truth.

In conclusion, sex is a biological denotation of an organism, while gender is the psychological denotation of the behavious that normally corresponde with each sex.

At what point does a pot hole stop being a pot hole?

Everyone in society is supposed to go out of their way to be polite and not allow their differences to effect one another when mixing in public.

That being said today's LGBT characters seem hell bent on the polar opposite and won't be content until they've harassed, offended and disrespected every person and moral agreement society has to offer.

Why do so many call others rude for small things then make excuses for the unreasonable and uncivilised behaviour of characters with a sexual, anti western agenda?

The arrogance of those who think they're liberal is only outshone by the stupidity of that which they excuse.

It is considered stoic and selfless to be polite against the odds, so what does that make LGBT who not only rudely and disturbingly shove their sadistic views in our faces, but in the minds of the youth.
