William Morris - A Communist Criminal Preserved In Britain (Segment from Bloody Sunday)
William Morris (1834 – 1896) was an incredibly wealthy British born factory owner attributed as a great textile designer, poet, socialist activist and a huge name within the British Arts and Crafts Movement.
In reality Morris was against private property for the people he claimed to speak for and ran the very capitalist cart which he claimed to tackle.
Frederik Engles wished for Morris to become his own Karl Marx, but felt in the end he did not have what it took to play such a role, further highlighting Engles creation of Marx himself.
The policies and lifestyle of William Morris were the opposite to his Communist diatribe, which has been preserved along with his art and properties.
Born into comfortable wealth he became a member of the SDF and the Socialist League beside names such as Henry Hyndman and Eleanor Marx.
