We are being met with an onslaught of things constantly happening and changing in our society. It can be overwhelming. In the inevitable discussion of solutions, so many are so quick to call out every possible solution as bad.

It begs the question, are we really listening? Do we really want change?

Carl Sagan had a warning for us all back in 1995. To see much of what he feared come to pass in our current moment, I see a light in it all that's worth embracing and building on.

The possibility of multiple universes and multiple dimensions is not the stuff of science fiction. These discussions have been had throughout history. They were written about in ancient Greece, by Anaximander, and in Vedic scriptures, eastern philosophy and more. These concepts are found in almost every culture we know about, and span all centuries throughout human existence. This trend hasn’t stopped.

Michael C. Ruppert was an ex-LAPD Narcotics Detective and whistleblower who came out against the CIA in the late 70’s. He claimed they tried to enlist him in protecting and helping to facilitate their drug running practices. When Ruppert declined involvement and came forward he said he was threatened, wrongly discredited, and even shot at, but that didn’t stop him from speaking up.

Perhaps part of our sensemaking process must include other ways of knowing. Ways that ask us to consider something we can’t prove but can feel within our own bodies. Senses our modern science is showing us we have, but that our dogmas fear.
