Who exactly are warning voters to NOT to use blue ballpoint pens?

Election officials instructed by Dominion and ES&S. They are instructing you to use black felt tip pens.

Why? They don’t want to leave a trail for auditors.

First, the tabulators that can fill out ballot ovals have black ink in their cartridges, not blue.

Second, black felt tip pens are less depressive when marking a paper ballot, and thus the ink is applied more similarly to a tabulator print mark.

Before an election official will ever give you access to paper ballots in an audit, they will provide you with ballot images only.

Why? If the ballot images show black ink with no ball-point depressive marks, it is virtually impossible to distinguish between hand filled out ovals and machine filled out ovals.

That’s why they don’t want you to use blue ball point pens.

The tabulators have zero trouble accepting and scanning ballots marked with a blue ball point pen.

Don’t let fraudsters dictate how you vote.

You don’t broadcast that you are using a blue ballpoint pen.

You discretely fill out your ballot and submit it through the tabulator without drawing unnecessary attention to yourself.

Election officials aren’t in the ballot box with you and are to maintain a distance from you entering a ballot into a tabulator to protect privacy of the voter.

People afraid of filling out a paper ballot with a blue ballpoint pen out of fear of what a Dominion/ES&S trained election worker might say sounds a lot like the following to my ears:
