This Sunday I reunite with my super sweet 2002 Buick (with original nonworking tape cassette player) in Michigan and drive home to New Mexico. Left my steed there during the last tour. The drive home will end my October travels.

It’s been a long couple months away from my bride and young children.

Will have to retool/reassess after reflection of whatever occurs during the November 2022 election/selection.

I understand there is some fear-mongering going on about using your own blue, ballpoint pen at the polling place.

I’d like to take this opportunity to remind you that the absentee ballot instructions all over the COUNTRY say that voters can use a blue or black ink to fill out their ballots. People voting absentee will be using any blue or black pen that happens to be lying around their house. There's nothing official about the pen.

We have reason to believe that the tabulators may be using their interior printer to print on ballots without voter's knowledge. The tabulators have black ink. If you want to have assurance that your ballot didn't get printed on, then you need to fill it out with BLUE ink so printing will be obvious.

We have brought the issue of the interior printer to the attention of multiple county clerks and law enforcement, and they have been completely unresponsive. Because of their unwillingness to deal with this problem, we are forced to come up with our own solution. Don't let them bully you out of it.

The ball point pens don’t smear inside the tabulators. If you want to make extra sure of this, run your finger over your votes to make sure it's dry before you put it in the tabulator.
