Missed my connecting flight from Dallas to Louisiana.

Airports are a mess. Captain didn’t show, customer service lines had 2 hour wait.

Got another flight first thing in the morning.

After missing the connection, a flight attendant recognized me in line, and struck up a conversation while I was trying to figure out my emergency lodging for the night, while also searching for new flight.

She had questions about who the white hats versus the black hats are, and asked whether Trump is coming back before 2024, etc. I did my best to answer her questions, but was super distracted and left my phone charger behind. Losing chargers is so annoying.

My Uber driver (from Kenya) asked me where I’m from. I replied “New Mexico.” So then he asked me about aliens and Area 51. All I could think about was how to direct the conversation to getting the driver to a county commission meeting to help fix 2020.

All this to say: I’m tired, overly caffeinated, frequently distracted, losing stuff constantly, have little to no control of much in my life, and miss my bride and kiddos.
