I often think that vanity is Satan's favorite sin he uses to destroy.

Praise comes spontaneously from seeing and admiring the beauty, or work of another.

For example, I love my wife. Her beauty stirs in me a reaction to declare it out loud. I often do.

Likewise, when I see patriots I admire, I often praise them because what they do is praiseworthy. Good things or good works are self-evident and will demand spontaneous appreciation. There is no calculus behind it.

When so-called patriots demand recognition, or solicit me to recognize and promote their favorite patriot, do you not see the problem with that?

It would be no different than my wife asking for a compliment, or putting someone else up to it.

It cheapens the praise.

My friends, your chief concern should be to glorify God, and secondarily, enhance or encourage the platforms of those committed to...

you guessed it...

glorifying God.

God gets ALL the glory.

I pray for the day God delivers us, so can I quietly go away to fish or something.

I don't fish.

But you know what I mean.

Stop building idols.

There was a time in January, that I debated an Antifa supporter on a local ABC news station about my impressions that capitol police and Antifa had more to do with the capitol breach than the unsuspecting Trump supporters that just walked in.
