Praise comes spontaneously from seeing and admiring the beauty, or work of another.
For example, I love my wife. Her beauty stirs in me a reaction to declare it out loud. I often do.
Likewise, when I see patriots I admire, I often praise them because what they do is praiseworthy. Good things or good works are self-evident and will demand spontaneous appreciation. There is no calculus behind it.
When so-called patriots demand recognition, or solicit me to recognize and promote their favorite patriot, do you not see the problem with that?
