Hitting the Right Nerve
Since announcing for state senate (www.jacksonoklahoma.com) my words & videos are spreading more through the “political left.”
Before I announced my candidacy, I remarked that I had never been called a list of tropes employed to censor political speech - especially speech disagreed with by those favoring communism.
What has changed?
Nothing.
Except now my name is on a ballot, and if by God’s will, I win, then I would have political “power.”
People didn’t care when I’ve advanced the gospel of Jesus Christ here. They didn’t care when I talk about #LiveLocal or an immigration moratorium or stopping abortion.
But as soon as you say you’re a political candidate, then the knives come out.
Here’s my point: politics is an idol-filled arena.
My singular objective is to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ into that sphere.
Yes, I will support policies I believe in (as they track to the Bible and fit inside an originalist view of the Constitution).
But these godless commies have proven to me that they won’t really budge until you up-turn their tables in their diseased temples.
They want power. I want Jesus Christ.
Let us resume the collision course. 😃
