Many folks I know have told me they are praying for me to rest.

In all honesty, the prayer irks me. We need to keep grinding. Fix 2020.

But I am tired.

While I'd rather have folks pray that I'd find a new brand of coffee, or that I could accomplish more with less sleep, I must look really tired for it to be on the minds of others.

I'm going to rest.

Promise.

Unless I can't.

Then I won't.

Whether I'm "irked" has no bearing on whether a prayer is needed.

I know I need continued prayer.

My frustration is not with the prayer giver seeking to bless my family, but rather out of frustration that there are not enough laboring to fix 2020.

I struggle with restlessness. So, friends, your prayers are over the mark.

God's will be done. Not mine.

Hopefully, my post above indicates that I am trying to submit to God's will, and to trust God's will, though I find it difficult at times.

I would think that during war, informational or otherwise, a lack of rest is a given. And the soldier only rests when he is comfortable that other soldiers are diligently carrying out the mission in his absence.

If victory depended on me, we would all be in trouble. Praise God that it's not.

Again, thank you for your prayers. I apologize for sharing my grumbling and frustration from time to time.

Without a doubt, fixing 2020 is the foundational issue that needs our focus. Get rid of the machines.
