Fun fact before I get back to work. I love trial. It's where the rubber meets the road. It's where all the posturing, letter writing, and bloviating ends.
I am patient. General counsel for universities don't try cases. They golf, take early lunches, sweat profusely, and farm out potential litigation to civil law firms.
Civil law firms, even the best of them, usually has an attorney or two that can try a case. They are talented and smart. But, if they are lucky, they try about one case a year to a jury. For most civil litigators, the closest thing they have to a trial, is a deposition.
A deposition is a far cry from a jury trial.
Oh, and the best civil litigation firm that NMSU would use in the Las Cruces area, is a law firm I'm affiliated with.
That means they have a conflict of interest. Whoops! You might want to screenshot that!
Those are some good attorneys that wil be missed out on.
During my career, I averaged conservatively, 2 jury trials a month. Some months I had more. I remember doing 5 felony jury trials during an especially busy March docket.
At a minimum, I averaged 24 jury trials a year over my career. I'd first chair, co-chair, second chair, and advise younger associates from the gallery. If I sensed even the slightest hesitation from a younger associate, I'd take the case the morning of.
During the summer of my first year as a professor, I was appointed special prosecutor for a murder case as an "insurance policy." I didn't have to do much, but I did the trial for free, because I love trial.
Some trials take years in the system before they get to a jury. That wears on people. Not me. That's where justice is found.

Categorizing patients as "unvaccinated" until 14 days after the 2nd innoculation is a complete and utter fraud on the American people.
Over 80% of adverse events, hospitalizations, and deaths from the COVID-19 vaccines occur within 14 days of getting vaccinated.
These are all recorded by the CDC and hospitals systems as "unvaccinated" patients.
This is a criminal misrepresentation of the data.
The CDC could simply categorize patients as unvaccinated, 1 shot, 2 shot, and fully vaccinated (after 14 days) if they wanted to share a clear and accurate representation of the truth.

Newsom ‘Wins’ Conservative Orange County 52.6% – 47.4% in Rigged Recall Election
California Governor Gavin Newson survived the rigged recall election on Tuesday.
Of course he did.
There was plenty of opportunity for rampant fraud because there is no chain of custody with ballot harvesting, mail-in ballots, ballot drop boxes and printing ballots from home.
351, 000 “Yes” votes disappeared from totals in the recall election live on CNN.
No serious person even considers this an election.
More than 30% of the people who signed the petition to recall Newsom were Independents and Democrats, but he won the recall in a ‘landslide.’
Even more ridiculous, Gavin Newsom ‘won’ conservative Orange County: 52.6% (464,164) voted “No” to 47.4% (418,362) voted yes, KTLA 5 reported.
Recall, Orange County turned blue in 2018 after the Democrats stole at least four congressional seats with ballot harvesting.
Republicans were able to flip two congressional seats in OC in 2020.
Republican Michelle Steel defeated Democrat incumbent Harley Rouda in Orange County’s 48th district.
Republican Young Kim defeated crooked Democrat incumbent Gil Cisneros in California’s district 39.
But Newsom is super popular in Orange County and won by a landslide.

She likes to ask self-defeating questions like "who should I demand an audit from?"

She poses questions that aren't asked in good faith. She's an excuse maker, and obstacle provider. We need excuse removers and obstacle destroyers.
The American public is livid, and you've had 11 months to figure out how to fight and demand accountability through your platform.
Not one shiny commercial, not one piece of campaign literature, and not one public event, has Rebecca Dow said a damn thing about the most important issue facing our Republic.
The election was stolen.
Trump and other down ballot candidates won.
We need a full forensic audit.
Make Rebecca Dow say it, and preferably have her do something about it.
