Writing to glory: ‘Angkor Dictation’ competition wraps up at Angkor

The second "Angkor Dictation " contest, held this morning on the western causeway of the iconic Angkor Wat Temple, attracted a total of 1,220 contestants, including 82 monks.
The oldest participant was 81 years old, while the youngest was just six.
This year’s theme was “Siem Reap Angkor, a Treasure of the Cultural Economy”.
A total of six winners will be announced: three from the category for contestants aged 19 and above, and three for younger entrants. The results will be officially announced this afternoon, January 19.
