Generali Minerali is DJ, Producer and a live performer, responsible for various releases on the finest record labels. His production mainly concentrates on raw electro/break type of sound and techno, consistency of his live acts and DJ sets are enriched by a wide variety of vibes of various sounds and genres of electronic dance music such as Techno, Electro, Break, Acid. Generali is also a crew member and resident artist of already iconic TES Club.

Ketato M, DJ, hailing from Tbilisi, Georgia, is a prominent figure in the electronic music scene, known for her distinctive selection of Groovy Techno. With a passion for exploring new sounds across various genres, Ketato M infuses her mixes with a special combination that captivates listeners and energizes the dancefloor. For Ketato M, Techno represents more than just a genre; it's a revolutionary force that allows her to translate her emotions into energetic experiences on the dancefloor. Her sets are carefully crafted to evoke a sense of dynamism and excitement, drawing from a diverse range of musical influences. Through her innovative approach to mixing and her relentless pursuit of new sounds, Ketato M has carved out a unique niche for herself within the electronic music landscape. With each performance, she strives to push boundaries and create unforgettable moments for her audience, solidifying her status as a driving force in the global Techno community.

For Newa, when DJing, the emotional guidance she uses to locate the structure of her set is key. She builds something that has all the ingredients of classic techno and at the same time perfectly mirrors its present sound. She explores the low-level end of the bass-spectrum as well as cunningly introducing squelchy acid together with intense melodies. Newa’s techno is direct with an intense presence, yet never forceful or intrusive.

Coming from the jazz scene (and being a classically trained musician) Ana Kublashvili chose the artist name Newa when she progressed into the electronic music field. Newa started out as a DJ in 2012 in her hometown of Tbilisi, Georgia, quickly making a name for herself around in the city’s famous nightlife spots. She is a regular at the world-renowned Bassiani venue, a space that has given her a foundation to establish her skills on an international scale. Newa is also a recurring favorite at Ben Klock’s touring event-series Photon.

When it comes to Newa’s own productions it is a direct transition from her sound as a DJ; she represents a nuanced artist, building her musical presence on technical skill and honest feelings. Her authenticity extends into the studio. What you discover when listening to her work is a producer who expertly manages to measure all elements; deep bass lines and sunken melodies coexist in harmony. Whether the end result is techno or an experimental ambient piece, she manages to create music resonating with depth and reflection.

Subspiele Records debuted Newa’s first own productions in 2012, since then she has gone on to release records on fine labels such as Klockworks, Semantica, and the Bassiani in-house label.

Freddy K: techno activist. Since the ‘90s Alessio Armeni has been tireless campaigning from the dancefloor, defending vinyl, championing young talents and reinforcing the scene from the shadows. You will know him best for his marathon DJ sets and deviant selections. You might recognise him as the head of KEY Vinyl, or for the backstage role he played at M_Rec, the label he helped run with best friend Max_M. You should definitely know about Virus, the thing that started it all off for him back in Rome.

Lory D and Leo Anibaldi’s The Sound of Rome movement; Luca Cucchetti’s renowned Mad radio shows; warehouses, soundsystems and rave all informed Freddy K’s earliest obsession with techno. He started DJing at Sunday after hour events, having danced all through the night himself. In 1993, aged 21, he launched his now famous Virus radio show, which ran daily from 8PM to midnight, and from midnight to 6AM every Saturday. Parties, a booking agency and record shop soon followed: the Virus movement had arrived. A year later Freddy K signed to the legendary ACV, who released his first EP, Control. Rage Of Age, his debut album came in 1995; a dark and noisy record influenced by his two passions, Chicago acid and rock. It was widely lauded throughout the country and remains a testament to the old Sound of Rome today.

After Virus peaked and having toured all over the world with ACV, Freddy K stopped DJing and retreated to the backroom. He spent the early millennial years working with Sandro Nasonte at Rome’s flagship record store, Remix. Together they set up the influential Elettronica Romana label, which released some of Donato Dozzy and Giorgio Gigli's first EPs. In 2005 Freddy K launched K1971, a label management enterprise that continues to support fledgling initiatives today from its base in Berlin. He moved to the German capital in 2009, setting up KEY Vinyl as a “techno label for DJs” two years later. Artists like PVS and Héctor Oaks have helped forge the label’s (and Freddy K’s own) traditionalist view on techno.

Moving to Berlin reignited Freddy K’s teenage infatuation with rave. He soon fell in with Homopatik, the former monthly gay event at ://about blank. He became notorious for his epic 10, 14 and 16 hour-long sessions there, playing always strictly vinyl and in a dynamic, party conscious fashion. Freddy K sets are characteristically mercurial and 100% tailored for the dance. He plays a “360°-style of techno,” which can include Soft Cell, WestBam or Bronski Beat—when the timing is just right. He played his first Berghain set in 2013; two years later he was closing the place, keeping the energy levels soaring well into Monday. The last 20 minutes, he says, are the most important. So be sure to stick around till the very end.

Cer­ti­fi­ably one of the most revered under­ground DJs of the Nether­lands, Job Veer­man, bet­ter known as Iden­ti­fied Patient, has made a name for him­self as an oth­er­world­ly sto­ry­teller. His left­field mix­es take the lis­ten­er on a white-knuck­le ride of twists and turns, with no genre, tem­po, or mood off-lim­its. The Ams­ter­dam-based artist made his ascen­sion with some of Rot­ter­dam’s finest imprints, all the while fill­ing dance floors across the coun­try and through­out Europe. His style fus­es raw aes­thet­ics with unri­valed, relent­less ener­gy which he trans­lates into his pro­duc­tions as flu­id­ly as his DJ sets.

With a trade­mark sound that drifts between the exper­i­men­tal sides of tech­no, elec­tro, acid, dub, and jun­gle, it was not long before his music gained the atten­tion of Rot­ter­dam-based labels. Hit­ting Com­mon Thread in 2016 with The Female Med­ical Col­lege of Penn­syl­va­nia and then Pinkman in 2017 with a string of releas­es, and lat­er releas­ing his Split EP on Lon­don’s Brokn­toys. These out­lets would become the plat­forms for his ear­ly releas­es which were rec­og­nized as instant hits in sev­er­al charts and clubs through­out Europe and beyond. In 2020 he released his Nerve Deposit EP as part of Dek­man­tel’s UFO Series. This year he will return to Dek­man­tel’s imprint, this time with his debut album. Not only this, but he is busy col­lab­o­rat­ing with Gam­ma Intel on an EP, also due to hit the air­waves this year.

Besides his sen­su­al­ly severe, irrev­er­ent pro­duc­tions, Iden­ti­fied Patient has put him­self on the map with his high-ener­gy DJ sets, brim­ming with ten­sion that spills over into eclec­tic and diverse styles. Despite his rapid tran­si­tions his focus nev­er diverges from the qual­i­ty of his selec­tions. He has become a vital pres­ence at Dek­man­tel events and was a reg­u­lar at the Ams­ter­dam insti­tu­tion, De School, firm­ly assert­ing his place in the Dutch elec­tron­ic scene.

Iden­ti­fied Patient shows no sign of tak­ing his foot off the gas, with a com­pelling list of forth­com­ing releas­es and an exten­sive tour­ing sched­ule. Strap in for this year’s roller­coast­er ride; sleaze and sat­is­fac­tion guaranteed.

Nebbieri is an esteemed resident of Tbilisi's renowned Club Bassiani. Nebbieri's eclectic style effortlessly weaves together a tapestry of sonic influences. Her sets are captivating, cinematic, and always well-executed blends of techno, acid, breakbeat, and electro. Nebbieri's passion lies in the art of harmonizing both the vintage and the contemporary, skilfully merging driving beats and cutting-edge sounds. This distinctive approach gives birth to Nebbieri's signature musical style, one that resonates deeply with their own artistic vision.

Nata Beradze, artistically celebrated as NEUX, stands out as a new force in the European techno landscape. Originating from Georgia and establishing her base in Berlin, she embodies a versatile artistry, merging her singer-songwriter essence with her prowess as a DJ. NEUX's residency at Tbilisi’s KHIDI underscores her role in the current techno circuit. Her musical style, which skillfully blends different shades of techno, marks her as an adaptable and innovative artist. This innovation shines through in her experimental debut, "All I Want". In her performances, she intertwines the pulsating sound of Berlin techno with the essence of Georgian rhythms, transforming each set into a captivating expedition through varied sonic realms. NEUX envisions a legacy as a fervent music aficionado and a DJ famed for hosting unforgettable parties, she's carved out a special place in the techno world. Pivotal moments like her first Berghain experience playing for Bite Records and her residency at KHIDI sparking her devotion to electronic music. NEUX's goal is to express her innermost feelings through her music, reaching out to those who resonate with her artistic spirit. Her path in music goes beyond mere creation; it's about forging immersive experiences, staying authentic to her beginnings while evolving with the dynamic techno scene.

THEØFFICE is set to host the third edition of Yerevan’s Back&forth event series. On May 11th, Scanner is welcoming the b2b of Tbilisi based DJs Bassil and Miyako. Joining forces with Back&forth founder Yhii, the night will be an intimate musical storytelling.

This series is an exploration aimed at conjuring a distinctive energy. The curation is rooted in a commitment to extended sets, prioritizing the establishment of a strong harmonic connection between the dancers and the artist, becoming a pipe for time travel-like experiences.
