I made this song from scratch around 1AM on Christmas morning. What better way to celebrate the holiday than to honor God. This was genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve had making a song…

I used to make music about what I thought I was “supposed” to be making music about. Money money money, glorifying drugs and drug dealing, girls blah blah blah. All brainwashed talk coming from evil influence.

I’m far from perfect but thanks to the lord I am doing my best to walk for him everyday and he’s rewarding me in so many ways. I am living proof that you can have all the material things, a loving family, etc…and still feel empty on the inside. Now thanks to the love and presence of the Holy Spirit - I look FORWARD to each day and money is no longer my god.

As someone who grew up poor just know…the grass isn’t always greener on the other side of “success”.

Theres a deeper and stronger fulfillment out there that all of us can have!!!!
