Totally random and not that deep, but we figured we’d throw this debate out there and see what you all think.
If I were on the other side of this—buying picks from a handicapper—I’d be way more frustrated getting sent constant favorites that lose outright than taking losses on underdogs.
For example, if I kept getting let’s say around -9 favorites all week and some got smoked, that would annoy me way more than dogs losing.
With underdogs, I feel like it’s expected sometimes—they’re underdogs for a reason. But when a favorite not only fails to cover but actually loses outright? Brutal.
That’s just my take, though. Michael disagrees lol, which is fair—everyone’s got their own opinion, and at the end of the day, this debate doesn’t really matter.
