🛳 Indian Navy Day
भारतीय नौसेना दिवस

🛥To recognize the achievements and role of the Indian Navy to the country.

🛳December was chosen as on that day in 1971, during Operation Trident, the Indian Navy sank four Pakistani vessels including PNS Khaibar, killing hundreds of Pakistani Navy personnel.

🛳On this day, those who martyred in the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 are also remembered.

🛳The Indian Navy is a maritime part of the Indian Army, which was established in 1612.

🛳The East India Company formed an army as the East India Company's Marine to protect its ships. Which was later named Royal Indian Navy.

🛳After the independence of India, the Navy was re-constituted in 1950 and renamed the Indian Navy.

१. प्रज्ञावंत बाबासाहेबांनी संपादित केलेल्या पदव्या : 

डॉ. आंबेडकरांनी तब्बल ३२ पदव्या संपादित केल्या होत्या. यामध्ये बीए, एमए, पीएचडी (अर्थशास्त्र), एमएससी (Provincial Decentralization of Imperial Finance in British India), बॅरिस्टर इन लॉ, डीएससी (The Problem of the Rupee – Its origin and its solution), एलएलडी (HIS achievements, Leadership and authoring the constitution of India), डी.लिट. या काही महत्वाच्या पदव्या आहेत.

२. आंबेडकरांनी लिहिलेले महत्वाचे ग्रंथ : 

Caste in Hindu (1916), The problem of Rupee (1923), Annhilation of Caste (1935), Federation Versus Freedom (1939), Ranade, Gandhi and Jinnah (1943), Communal Deadlock and a Way to solve it (1945), What congress and Gandhi have done to the untouchables? (1945), Pakistan or Partition of India (1945), State and Minorities (1947), Maharashtra as a Linguistic state (1948), The untouchable (1948), Who were shudra (1945), Buddha and his Dhammas (1957).

३. डॉ. आंबेडकरांनी सुरु केलेली वर्तमानपत्रे :

४. महत्वाचे सत्याग्रह / आंदोलने : 

महाडचे चवदार तळे सत्याग्रह, (२० मार्च १९२७), मनुस्मृती दहन (२५ डिसेंबर १९२७), शेतकऱ्यांची चळवळ (१९२८), पर्वती देवालय प्रवेश (१९२९), काळाराम मंदिर प्रवेश सत्याग्रह (१९३१), पुणे करार (१९३२), येवला परिषद (१९३५), बौद्ध धर्मात प्रवेश (१४ ऑक्टोबर १९५६), बावीस प्रतिज्ञा.

५. बाबासाहेबांनी स्थापन केलेल्या महत्वपूर्ण संस्था/संघटना :

बहिष्कृत हितकारिणी सभा (१९२४), समता सैनिक दल (१९२७), स्वतंत्र मजूर पक्ष (१९३६), शेड्युल कास्ट फेडरेशन (१९४२), पिपल्स एज्युकेशन सोसायटी (१९४५), भारतीय बौद्ध महासभा (१९५५).


६. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकरांच्या गाजलेल्या घोषणा : 

‘मी अस्पृश्य जातीत जन्माला आलो, ते माझ्या हाती नव्हते. हिंदू म्हणून मी जन्माला आलो, पण हिंदू म्हणून मरणार नाही’.
‘जे आपला इतिहास विसरतात ते कधीही इतिहास घडवू शकत नाहीत’
‘शिका, संघटित व्हा, संघर्ष करा’
‘स्वातंत्र, समता, बंधुता शिकवणाराच धर्म मला प्रिय वाटतो’
‘जीवन हे मोठे असण्यापेक्षा महान असायला हवे’

७. बाबासाहेबांना मिळालेले पुरस्कार / सन्मान : 

१९५५ मधील काठमांडू येथील जागतिक बौद्ध परिषदेत ‘बोधीसत्व’ ही उपाधी प्रदान, १९९० मध्ये ‘भारतरत्न’ हा भारताचा सर्वोच्च नागरी पुरस्कार देण्यात आला.

८. बाबासाहेबांच्या व्यक्तिमत्वाचे विविध पैलू :

चित्रकार : बी. आर. मडिलगेकर यांच्याकडून त्यांनी चित्रकलेचे प्रशिक्षण घेतले होते. बाबासाहेबांना व्हायोलिन वाजवण्याचीही आवड होती.
पत्रकार : ‘ज्यांचा आवाज दाबण्याचा प्रयत्न केला जातो त्यासाठी वर्तमानपत्र त्यांचा आवाज होऊ शकते असे सांगणाऱ्या’ बाबासाहेबांचे नाव तत्कालीन ब्राह्मणेतर पत्रकारितेत अग्रस्थानी घेतले जाते.
राजकारणी : बाबासाहेब भारताच्या राज्यघटनेच्या मसुदा समितीचे अध्यक्ष होते. तसेच ते स्वतंत्र भारताचे पहिले मजूर मंत्रीही होते.
अर्थतज्ज्ञ : ‘द प्रॉब्लेम ऑफ रुपी’ या त्यांच्या ग्रंथातून प्रेरणा घेऊन १९३५ साली भारतीय रिझर्व्ह बँकेची स्थापना करण्यात आली.
तत्वज्ञ : स्वातंत्र, समता आणि बंधुता या तत्वांवर विश्वास ठाम विश्वास असणाऱ्या बाबासाहेबांनी हीच तत्वे राज्यघटनेत समाविष्ट केली.

९. बाबासाहेबांच्या कार्याबद्दल फारशा चर्चिल्या न गेलेल्या गोष्टी : 

दुसऱ्या महायुद्धानंतर भारताची आर्थिक घडी बसवण्यात बाबासाहेबांचे मोठे योगदान होते. त्यासाठी नेमलेल्या रिकन्स्ट्रक्शन कमिटी ऑफ काऊन्सिलचे (आरसीसी) सदस्य होते. तत्कालीन राष्ट्रपती राजेंद्र प्रसाद यांनी त्यांच्यावर सिंचन आणि विजेच्या प्रश्नांबाबत जबाबदारी सोपवली होती., ‘दामोदर नदी खोरे’ आणि ‘सोने नदी खोरे’ प्रकल्प तसेच देशातील सर्वात मोठ्या ‘हिराकुड धरण’ प्रकल्पाचे काम बाबासाहेबांच्या अखत्यारित झाले. भारतीय रिझर्व्ह बँकेच्या स्थापनेत आणि लाईफ इन्शुरन्स कॉर्पोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (एलआयसी)च्या स्थापनेत बाबासाहेबांचा मोठा वाटा होता.

१०. बाबासाहेबांचे लेखन : 

भारतातील कोणत्याही राजकीय नेत्याने केले नाही एवढे प्रचंड लेखन डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी केलेले आहे. पूर्ण झालेले एकूण २२ ग्रंथ आणि पुस्तिका, १० अपूर्ण राहिलेले ग्रंथ, १० निवेदने किंवा साक्षीपुरावे, १० शोधनिबंध, लेख आणि परीक्षणं इतके प्रचंड लिखाण डॉ. आंबेडकरांनी केले आहे. विशेष म्हणेज त्यांनी हे सर्व लिखाण इंग्रजीतून केलेले आहे.

🔹On August 28, 1949, a committee was set up under the then Defence Minister of India. The committee decided that Flag Day will be observed annually on December 7.
