👉 Maratha Military Landscapes of India was included in 2025 as the 44th Indian site. It includes 12 strategically built forts reflecting the military ingenuity of the Maratha Empire(one fort lies in Tamil Nadu, rest in Maharastra).
👉 Maharashtra: Salher, Shivneri, Lohgad, Khanderi, Raigad, Rajgad, Pratapgad, Suvarnadurg, Panhala, Vijaydurg, Sindhudurg
👉 Tamil Nadu: Gingee Fort
👉 Moidams – the Mound-Burial System of the Ahom Dynasty included in 2024.
