OVERTHINKERS, read this


1. That story ain't real.

None of it. That fear, insecurity, and that imaginary story you're obsessing about, it's all in your head. Every time you find yourself in that story, dragggggg yourself to the present.


2. You don't know

Accept it. You're going crazy jumping to conclusions about a thing that isn't even there. Sometimes it's okay to just accept and tell yourself "i don't know".


3. What if, what if

Overthinking is a longgggg chain of what ifs. What if that happens, what if it doesn't work, what if i fail, what if. Don't complicate it. Take a breath, you'll be fine.


4. Zoooom out

In the bigger frame of things, what you're obsessing about doesn't even matter. Try, fail, fall, learn and get back up again. That's life, live it.


5. Meditate / Workout

Thoughts ain't leaving you? Sit at a quiet place and take 10 long deep breaths. Meditate or Workout. It really helps.


6. Do one thing well

Make a to-do list. Write down two or three things that you need to do. Do them one by one. You don't have to do everything. Just do one thing well. Life is long. You'll make it.


7. Enjoy the ride

Life is full of ups and downs. Obsessing about every little thing won't fix it. When it's sunshine, have fun. When it's dark and stormy, let it pass. Life is change, keep moving and you'll be ok.


8. Be Disciplined

To heal yourself, fix your old toxic patterns and achieve what you choose to focus on

The most powerful way to heal someone is to listen. Don’t think or judge just listen. People start to heal the moment they feel heard. You can’t be a healer if you refuse to step outside of your own emotions and view things entirely from the perspective of the other person..

Instead of feeling like you're behind, feel grateful for each setback you've had in your life and each lesson you have learned along the way. Be grateful for each relationship and what you were able to learn about yourself through falling in and out of love. Feel proud of how strong you have become from each time you were left to put the pieces of your broken heart back together. Be grateful that you learned that you will heal again no matter what you go through. Some people never find this strength. You should be proud that you learned how to recognize and move on from situations that are no longer good for you. You might feel like you are behind, but when you really think about it, everything you have been through has made you the person you are now. Your experience is your strength, and you shouldn't wish to change that for anything.

The reason you overthink is because you're a people pleaser. You want to send the perfect text because you care about making the other person smile. You want to plan the perfect date because you care about making the other person happy. You overlove because you lack self-love. You might hate your overthinking for making you worry whether you are boring, whether you are annoying, whether you are not good enough. Part of your overthinking has to do with insecurity. It has to do with needing to love, respect, and accept yourself more.

You can't control how other people receive your energy. Anything you do or say gets filtered through the lens of whatever personal stuff they are going through at the moment. Which is not about you. Just keep doing your thing with as much integrity and Love as possible.

sometimes I wonder how i survived and then i look at my maa and I go "oh, i survive because I don't want to leave her yet" and it makes sense. life is so hard a lot of the time, but I want one more cup of tea made by her, I want one more night under the stars with her, i want to take her out on a long drive, far away to her favourite places, and probably make her see the whole world.

getting over someone is a process. and some day's you will be fine. while other days you will feel completely shattered. healing takes time. and sometimes it may take longer than expected. but you will pull through it. one day, you will learn how to move on from it. you will learn how to put it behind you. life can be scary after a major heartbreak. but you have to believe that everything will be okay in the end. you have to know how some endings are new beginnings. and how all beginnings must. start. somewhere.
