Last year when I spoke at ECETI I did a 2 hour presentation on memes and memetic warfare. It started off as a kind of joke topic, but the research I did ended up blowing my mind. Memetic warfare is REAL and has been studied and used by tptb in actual warfare for a lot longer than most probably realize. Memes aren’t just funny pictures with bold, white text, they’re defined as “an element of a culture or system of behavior that may be considered to be passed from one individual to another by nongenetic means, especially imitation.”
With that in mind, think of all the ways in which Trump has gotten people to mimic him and has seeded pop culture and the collective consciousness. Remember the nicknames? Crooked Hillary, Leaking, Lying James Comey, Nervous Nancy, Liddle Adam Schiff... the list goes on. How many times did he refer to the mainstream media as “the enemy of the people?” I think when he coined that phrase, some of us felt it was kind of harsh. But now we can see their role is much more detrimental and malicious than we ever realized, and they actually ARE exactly that. Trump’s tweets were memes. He knew the MSM wouldn’t cover his quotes and the points he wanted them to. BUT, if he misspelled something... well they couldn’t help themselves, could they?
Trump even memed us with his words. Think about the goofy way he constantly said “Chy-na.” Did he not get the entire world mimicking him and repeating that word? When the whole mainstream narrative was focused on “Russia, Russia, Russia” Trump had us all subconsciously thinking about China.
Just a morning thought while drinking my covfefe. ♥️
