In Israel, they believe that it is still too early to say that the negotiations have definitively collapsed. Even after the failure of the last round, additional attempts cannot be ruled out, possibly even within the timeframe of the fragile ceasefire that was set for two weeks.

However, at this stage, it is not at all certain that there will be another round. Decisions in the White House can be made very quickly within hours, not necessarily over days.
