US President Donald Trump has shared a graphic video on social media of a woman being killed with a hammer.
In a Friday post on his Truth Social account, Trump showed surveillance video of the violent attack, which took place at a petrol station in Florida last week. His post provided no graphic warning, or video censoring.
The video had been shared online a few hours earlier by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Their post to X had included a graphic warning, but it also said in the text, “Do not look away.”
DHS said local police and US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents had tracked down and arrested the alleged killer, who the department said was from Haiti. He had entered the US in 2022 and “was released into the country under the Biden administration,” the department said.
