Two MC-130J Combat King II rescue aircraft and four MH-6 Little Bird helicopters were deliberately destroyed by U.S. forces during the search and rescue mission in Iran, according to ABC News, citing U.S. officials.

🇮🇷🇦🇪 - Several fires have broken out at Abu Dhabi’s Borouge petrochemicals factory, with damage currently being assessed following an Iranian missile and drone attack. This comes less than 24 hours after Israel struck Iran’s largest petrochemical facility.

🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡️- Iran is seeking a permanent end to the war and will not accept a temporary ceasefire, demanding guarantees that it will not be attacked again.

The final agreement is expected to include Iranian commitments not to pursue ​nuclear weapons in exchange for ​sanctions relief and the ⁠release of frozen assets, a source tells Reuters.
🇺🇸🇮🇷🇮🇱⚡️- Iranian state media report air strikes targeting a petrochemical facility connected to the South Pars gas field in Asaluyeh, southern Iran.

Iran produces an estimated 70-75% of its natural gas supply from the South Pars fields, and it is estimated that 80% of Iran's electrical grid is powered by natural gas.
🇺🇸🇮🇷🇮🇱⚡️- BREAKING: The Israeli Defence Force has announced strikes targeting the largest petrochemical facility in Asaluyeh, southern Iran, which is connected to the South Pars gas field.

These strikes are in addition to the previous strikes in Asaluyeh, southern Iran targetting a different facility.

Israeli Defence Mnister Israel Katz says "which together are responsible for about 85% of Iran’s petrochemical exports, have been taken out of use and are not functioning".

Israeli Katz also stated the IDF has been instructed to "continue striking with full force the national infrastructure of the Iranian terror regime".

It is estimated that 80% of Iran's electrical grid is powered by natural gas.
