These strikes are in addition to the previous strikes in Asaluyeh, southern Iran targetting a different facility.
Israeli Defence Mnister Israel Katz says "which together are responsible for about 85% of Iranโs petrochemical exports, have been taken out of use and are not functioning".
Israeli Katz also stated the IDF has been instructed to "continue striking with full force the national infrastructure of the Iranian terror regime".
It is estimated that 80% of Iran's electrical grid is powered by natural gas.
