Mainstream coverage. This article on how they cover the Antifa teacher Gabriel Gipe, is a fascinating insight into how propaganda works in the our nations newsrooms. Two observations 1) MSM now will not reveal newsworthy information due to the “harm” that information might inflict on the subject exposed “teacher whose name we are not disclosing due to threats against their family” and 2) Only report what powers that be officially tell you on the record “show communist propaganda on the walls, according to the Superintendent.” Information can only be true and reportable if official spokespeople for the Govt confirm it is true. These concepts are anathema to the very idea of journalism in a country that places so much value on the principles behind informed consent of the governed.

The bad news is it’s going to get worse. The good news is: reality is getting further and further away from the media’s depictions, enraging half the people to expose reality.
