On Wednesday 17/05 choreographer Amparo González Sola presents presents an early version of her performance in our basement, as part of her Open Space residency.

During her residency at The Grey Space, Sola focuses on her work 'La Conspiración de las Formas' (The Conspiracy of Forms). In this ongoing project, she investigates the changing relationship between human and matter. It addresses the question how we relate to the world we built. The performance invites the audience to a journey, in which everything –matter, images, sound, sensations, ideas– is exposed to erosion, degradation and transformation.

After the opening word by Amparo González Sola and artistic director Marijke Cobbenhagen, philosopher Nik Brörmann will take the floor with an enlightening lecture. Following this, voice artist Stephanie Pan will explore the limits of body and voice during her performance. The concluding panel discussion, moderated by theatre historian Dr. Marijn de Langen promises a lively and engaging discourse.

In a short-term residency at The Grey Space, Sandipan Nath evolves his repertoire of multimedia tactics through transdisciplinary collaborations.

’Ways of Landmaking’ is an exhibition that asks: what if we treat ourselves as land whose gestures are being harvested? Developed with linguist and philosopher Samar Khan, and posthumanist scholar Ruth Clemens, two interconnected projects will be exhibited.

In addition, Felix Sagar and Ruth Clemens were invited to host two workshops.
