Next week A Grey Space Weekend is happening!

Driven by the belief that major tendencies in the world find common ground in the relationships between people, this edition of A Grey Space Weekend will focus on the concept of radical relationism. In the program we aim to stimulate encounters between the public, makers and thinkers with backgrounds in different disciplines.

Working with exciting collaborators, we present an adventurous, inspiring, and accessible program, consisting of an extensive music program with live acts and DJs, an exhibition and performative symposium, experience dinners, and film screenings.

Find out all that's happening and get your tickets at thegreyspace.net/weekend!
It is our deep wish that the visitors’ experience is an immersive, vibrant one, and that each corner of the space is alive.

Unfortunately the new restrictions have a big impact on the activities of The Grey Space.

Don't forget! This weekend you can visit Prosthetic X by designer Isaac Monté at The Grey Space.

Prosthetic X is a project about the future of healthy aging in which art and technology intersect, opening the dialogue about e-health and data privacy. It speculates how non-invasive health tracking tools could give us insight into social, mental and physical health. It would empower empathy, celebrate knowledge and combat the threat of loneliness, isolation and health conditions for an aging population. The shadows of aging would fade away and unleash a new beauty ideal.

Prosthetic X can be visited on Saturday 27 (during Hoogtij) and Sunday 28 November between 14:00-18:00. Entree is free. Read more at thegreyspace.net/prostheticx.

After being forced to cancel just two weeks in advance last November, we have been waiting patiently ever since. In just over a month the wait is over and A Grey Space Weekend is finally happening!

From 13 until 15 May this adventurous festival fills up every corner of The Grey Space with an extensive music program by Onderwereld and Kantarion Sound, an exhibition, performances and a performative symposium.

Karel van Laere's project Reach takes the central stage, marking the end of his Open Space residency with his first solo exhibition which you can visit from between 13 and 22 May.

This weekend A Grey Space Weekend fills up every corner of our space with an exhibition, extensive music program, performances and a symposium.

In this video Karel van Laere talks about how this project differs from his previous work, his interest in the vulnerability of the spaces inside the human body and how his research and residency at The Grey Space led up to his first solo exhibition.

Reach can be visited from 13/05 until 22/05 at The Grey Space in the Middle.
A huge thanks to everyone who joined us last weekend for A Grey Space Weekend. We'd like to point out that Karel van Laere's exhibition Reach will be in The Grey Space until the end of this week.

Check thegreyspace.net/reach for more information and opening hours.
Will you be joining us for dinner?

From now on we serve a Daily Special and veggie snacks every Wednesday and Thursday.

The Daily Special is a full plate of food made with organic ingredients that are locally sourced as much as possible. Always vegetarian with a vegan option.

Our snacks are delicious fried veggies topped with sauces, herbs and other tasty stuff. Perfect as a quick healthy snack with your drink or to share with friends.

Today's special is a three colored whole grain risotto served with a carrot salad and burned leek with polenta.
A symphony of surreal soundscapes blending energetic trance and hyperpop with rhythmic cut-ups of deconstructed sounds.

Join us this Saturday for a new edition of Moving Downstairs. This edition of our recurring program with concerts and performances, auditory experiments, immersive sound pieces and collective experiences in our basement is curated by Paulina Trzeciak aka dogheadsurigeri and features artists associated with the experimental side of club music.

With: Dasychira, dogheadsurigeri, LazerGazer, LARASATI and DJ Serene.

Our summer break is over and events are happening again. Last weekend we had the pleasure of hosting ACHTERBAN. This week we have an exclusive Vans Skateboarding film premiere on Thursday, club nights Hypha and 403 Forbidden happening on Friday and Saturday and a soothing Dinner Session on Sunday.

Starting this week The Grey Space will be open every Thursday through Sunday from 16.00 until late and every Wednesday when there is a program.

Will we see you at one of the events or for a drink with friends later this week? Find all upcoming events and get your tickets at thegreyspace.net/program.
Just over two weeks from now, artist Constant Dullaart starts his Open Space residency at The Grey Space. This fall, Dullaart will initiate new work and exchange knowledge around his artistic research into the authorship hidden in protocols, systems and tools.

From September 9 until November 27 part of The Grey Space will be transformed into the broadcasting station ‘Studio Dull’. In a world increasingly dictated by data systems, Studio Dull questions to what extent a user can still act independently. Are we caged by technology or set free?

During the residency, three public events take place on 09/09, 08/10 and 26/11. For these events we invite guests and performers to create live broadcasts.

Find more information about Studio Dull, Constant Dullaart and the public events at the thegreyspace.net/studiodull.
