I swear to God, if I ever see the 'anti-Semitism’ argument again, I'm going to lose it. I don't know what kind of environment you grew up in. Maybe your father used to beat your mother, and then two hours later, you had a happy dinner time. Or maybe your friends used to laugh at you and exclude you regularly but came to you when it was lunchtime because you were their free food machine. I would understand how your definition of compassion would differ. But the rest of us, the normal people, don't like our abusers.
