How can anyone understand math, truly understand math, and not fall in love with it?

I find mathematics to be the most fascinating science in existence.

He’s just a bit hard to get, but aren’t they all?

It's not people's fault though; it has been taught incorrectly.
I promised myself that when I teach, I would explain to my students the reasons behind what they study. Now, in every class, they eagerly await the 'why' part, and they even ask for it. 'Why do we study differentiation, Miss? What's the purpose of studying trigonometry? Who invented imaginary numbers?'
