Hello!
It’s been a while since the last time we had a direct communication. Since we’re close to the end of 2022, I thought it’s a good time to give an overview of the current state of The Devs and our future plans.
1. We have made our groups public. This means they now have a username that can be shared or to be searched for:
- JavaScript: @thedevs_js
- Python: @thedevs_python
- Go: @thedevs_go
- Rust: @thedevs_rust
And so on. For the full list you can visit our website:
https://thedevs.network
Don’t forget to read our rules first:
@rulesforthedevs
2. Telegram’s Topics are still being polished and they are far from being perfect, but we’re experimenting with them because ultimately, they can be beneficial. You can now view the topics on our design group; and maybe soon on our other groups if they turn to work out nice.
@thedevs_design
3. Our side projects are ongoing and alive:
- Kutt, a modern URL shortener. We're planning to make a roadmap for Kutt's future.
- Telegram Directory, list of channels and groups on Telegram.
- The Guard Bot, a bot to moderate Telegram groups.
And of course, all of them, including our website, are open source and availabile on our GitHub organization.
4. Find jobs on @thehire.
And if you’re looking for programmers for your company, you can fill the form provided in the channel’s description to request to post jobs.
At the end, let us know what you think of The Devs and the community, any opinion or feedback is valuable to us.
We wish the best for all of you, and hope we can thrive together in 2023. 💜
