❗️Iran says most damaged oil facilities to recover within 2 months

Iran expects to bring most of its damaged refining and distribution facilities back to around 70–80% of their pre-attack capacity within one to two months, a senior oil official said, as authorities continue efforts to recover from strikes on energy infrastructure.

Deputy Oil Minister Mohammad Sadegh Azimifar told the Student News Network that repair work is already underway and that part of the Lavan refinery is expected to restart operations in about 10 days, with other units gradually returning online afterward.

❗️Key points from the press conference by Dr. Atef al-Hout, Director General of Nasser Medical Complex in Gaza, regarding the worsening shortage of oil and spare parts needed to operate electrical generators, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health:

– "The shutdown of one of the main generators at Nasser Medical Complex signals a critical period that threatens the functioning of vital departments within the facility."

– "The healthcare system in the Gaza Strip is facing catastrophic complications that are making it increasingly difficult to operate and provide services."

– "The occupation continues to deliberately undermine opportunities for medical recovery, obstructing patient and wounded treatment by preventing access to care, complicating procedures for medical travel abroad, and restricting essential resources needed to deliver healthcare services."

– "The refusal to allow the entry of oil and spare parts has shifted from direct killing to indirect killing of patients and the wounded."

– "The hospital has begun relying on lower-capacity generators operating under limited hours, but this does not mean the crisis has ended or been contained."

– "Nasser Medical Complex provides a range of specialized services and is the only hospital serving the southern governorates of the Gaza Strip. Any disruption of its generator-dependent services would constitute a major catastrophe."

– "Emergency technical measures being taken will not succeed as long as generators still require urgent maintenance, spare parts, and oil."

– "The generators have been operating for more than two years under extremely complex technical and engineering conditions, making maintenance extremely difficult to sustain."

– "An urgent appeal is being made to all relevant parties to assume responsibility for the crises and challenges overwhelming the healthcare system and draining its remaining resources."

BREAKING | US President Trump claims the US will begin blockading the Strait of Hormuz after talks failed, blaming Iran for “wanting nuclear” — referring to its refusal to give up its right to peaceful enrichment — vowing to clear mines, and threatening that the US military could “finish off Iran” at an appropriate moment.

❗️The Strait of Hormuz has never been Iran’s to close or restrict navigation through, the CEO of UAE state oil company ADNOC, Sultan al-Jaber, said on X on Sunday.

He warned that any disruption would endanger global energy, food, and health security, adding that establishing such a precedent would be "dangerous and unacceptable".

"The world simply cannot afford it and must not allow it," he added.

❗️Beijing unveils new Taiwan policy steps after opposition leader visit

China on Sunday announced 10 new incentive measures aimed at Taiwan, including relaxed restrictions on tourism, permission for “healthy” television dramas, and expanded opportunities for food exports, following a visit by Cheng Li-wun, chairwoman of the Kuomintang (KMT), Taiwan’s largest opposition party.

The measures, released by the official Xinhua News Agency, include plans to “explore” a regular communication channel between the KMT and China’s Communist Party, the full resumption of cross-strait flights, and allowing residents of Shanghai and Fujian province to travel to Taiwan.

China also said it would set up a mechanism to ease inspection requirements for food and fishery exports, but only on the political basis of “opposing Taiwan independence,” according to Xinhua.

It added that Taiwanese television dramas, documentaries, and animation will be permitted for broadcast as long as they meet criteria of “correct orientation, healthy content, and high production quality.”

VIDEO | An investigation by Press TV claims a US attempt to send two destroyers through the Strait of Hormuz, described as a “transit stunt,” ended in failure after Iranian forces intercepted the vessels and forced them to retreat under threat of attack.

The report says missiles and drones locked onto the ships, giving them minutes to withdraw, and described the US operation as aimed at influencing Iran–US talks in Islamabad, adding that the vessels attempted to disguise themselves as commercial ships using electronic deception.

South Lebanon field update from Al-Manar correspondent Samer Haj Ali

• "Western sector axis: Resistance operations continue, recently targeting a command position and another Israeli troop position in Bayyada. Israeli forces carried out demolition operations in Shamaa and Naqoura, while remaining positioned in Deir Hanna (Bayyada), near the UNIFIL headquarters in Naqoura, and around the Western Sector command headquarters in Shamaa.

• Bint Jbeil axis: Intense clashes continue in the eastern and northern areas, from Tahrir Triangle to Saf al-Hawa via the Moussa Abbas complex. Israeli forces are positioned overlooking the western route from the Shomran hill in Ain Ebel. Another unit advanced via a bypass route to a point on the ring road overlooking Bint Jbeil stadium to suggest it had made gains; the stadium was later targeted by an airstrike. Fighting is ongoing, with resistance forces holding their ground. Israeli forces failed to advance north from Ainata or move past Hanin and Rashaf toward Tayri and Haddatha, and have halted their movement toward Beit Lif.

• Blida to Mays al-Jabal: Western outskirts overlooking Wadi al-Hujair and Wadi Saluki remain resistant to Israeli control, with no meaningful enemy movements recorded.

• Taybeh axis: Resistance strikes continue, while Israeli forces have withdrawn from the outskirts of Deir Siryan and Qantara toward Taybeh and are now focusing on carrying out rapid special operations.

• Khiam axis: Israeli attempts in recent hours failed to achieve any ground progress. Forces have resorted to demolishing homes in the eastern neighborhood and remain present only in the southern part of the town.

• Arqoub axis: Israeli positions remain unchanged at occupied sites and their surroundings, including the newly established artillery position on the outskirts of Kfar Shuba. Special operations previously carried out in the area have recently stopped.

• Wider escalation: Resistance forces continue heavy strikes on Israeli settlements using rockets and drones in response to attacks on Lebanon and its people. Air raid sirens sounded more than 470 times on Saturday across areas from north of Haifa to Tiberias toward Lebanese territory."
