⭕ Dutch foreign minister resigns over Israel sanctions deadlock
Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp resigned on Friday after failing to win cabinet support for tougher sanctions against Israel over its war on Gaza.
Veldkamp said he could not secure agreement on “meaningful measures,” citing resistance from colleagues despite escalating attacks on Gaza City, settlement expansion in the West Bank, and Israeli actions in East Jerusalem.
His resignation prompted all ministers from the New Social Contract party to quit the caretaker government in solidarity, leaving the Netherlands without a foreign minister as EU debates on Israel sanctions and wider trade issues continue.

❗️US President Donald Trump says Israel should invade Gaza City, stating:
"I actually think they’re (the Israeli captives in Gaza) safer in many ways if you went in and you really went in fast and you did it."
Trump also says he believes there are less than 20 Israeli captives alive in Gaza.
"So now they have 20 [Israeli captives in Gaza] but the 20 is actually probably not 20 cause a couple, maybe, aren't around any longer."

⭕️ Pentagon fires DIA chief after report contradicts Trump claims on Iran strike
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth fired Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) chief Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Kruse, citing a "loss of confidence," after a preliminary DIA assessment - leaked to the press - found the June strikes on Iran likely set back Tehran’s nuclear program only by months, contradicting President Trump’s claim it was "completely and fully obliterated."
Senior lawmakers denounced the move as politicizing intelligence.

❗️Israel tests Oshkosh JLTV for long-range deployment
The Israeli army set up a series of drills this week to test the transportability of the newly introduced Oshkosh JLTV by air and sea.
“The goal of the exercise was to explore additional uses for the vehicle beyond the more familiar operations in nearby areas,” said Capt. L, in an interview with iCar. “It’s a relatively new vehicle in the army, and we want it to be suitable for as many missions as possible and test its capabilities.”
The JLTV, or Joint Light Tactical Vehicle, was developed under a US army program to succeed the outdated Humvee, with Oshkosh awarded the contract in 2015. The vehicle is armored and equipped with a passenger capsule designed by Plasan in Kibbutz Sasa in the upper Galilee. This capsule provides a “safety gap” between the cabin and the floor, offering protection against mines and explosives, an upgrade over older Humvees and other armored vehicles.

– "We value the UN’s decision to declare famine in Gaza, even if it came late."
– "We affirm that engineered starvation is just one element of the genocide, which also includes the systematic destruction of the health sector and other sectors, mass killings, and a policy of generational extermination."
– "Hundreds of cases that could have been saved have died, and the lives of thousands remain at risk. The international community faces a real test, as this is a time for action, not statements alone—despite their importance."

⭕️ Corbyn unveils 'Your Party' framework with focus on peace, justice, and sustainability
In an exclusive interview with Al Mayadeen, former UK Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn revealed the launch of a new political party, outlining its early platform, organizational structure, and international position.
Speaking from London, Corbyn described it as a movement built on community organizing and “social justice at home and peace abroad,” while strongly condemning the British government’s domestic policies and its involvement in global conflicts, especially in Palestine.
Corbyn said he and allies, including MP Zarah Sultana, have created a party framework currently using “Your Party” as a provisional name. “What we’ve done is offered a very simple platform program,” he said, identifying four central pillars: peace, including “no arms to Israel, no connivance in the genocide that’s taking place," economic justice. social justice, and environmental sustainability.
