When AI first entered the gaming conversation it was largely around how AI improves/accelerates the game production process but we're starting to see some player-centric innovations.

Nvidia's AI NPC evolved beyond just a chatbot to support characters in your game. The first example is with PUBG but I could imagine a resurgence of the golden era of MMORPG. The fun of playing that genre derives from playing with friends. Well now, AIs could fulfill that companionship void.

But games are more than just about playing and so is your AI. Nvidia introduced SIGHT for your AI so it can literally watch you play and provide commentary and guidance. What a new world we're in.
