We all know that the pressure on the actual examination day is very different. In mocks, we may feel comfortable, but in the real exam, even a few wasted minutes can create panic.

So, here is one practical technique we would strongly advise you to try.

Open any moderate to tough RBI Grade B Phase 1 mock. Not an easy mock, choose a paper that genuinely tests you. Now, instead of using the full sectional time, try to finish the sections slightly earlier:

GA: 20 minutes instead of 25 minutes
Quant: 20 minutes instead of 25 minutes
English: 20 minutes instead of 25 minutes
Reasoning: around 40 minutes instead of 45 minutes

The idea is simple: in the actual exam, some time may get wasted because of pressure, scrolling, doubt, anxiety, or difficult questions. So, if you train yourself to perform well even with 5 minutes less in every section, you will become mentally stronger for the final day.

If you are able to score well under reduced time, your confidence will increase massively. More importantly, you will understand how to think faster, skip smarter, and handle the ticking clock without panic.

Remember, the exam does not only test knowledge. It also tests your calmness, speed, decision-making, and pressure-handling ability.

“Don’t wait for exam day to test your pressure-handling ability. Create that pressure today, and train yourself to win inside it.

However, if you feel that this technique is not working for you, or it is unnecessarily increasing your anxiety, please avoid it and follow your normal mock-taking strategy. The purpose is to build confidence, not to create extra panic.

You can also customise this strategy according to your comfort level. For example, you may reduce around 10% of the total time allotted to each section and practise accordingly. The objective is to gradually train your mind and improve your ability to perform under controlled pressure.

👉 According to the International Renewable Energy Agency, India added 37 GW of solar capacity in 2025, while the US added 34 GW.

👉 This means India added more new solar power capacity during the year than the United States, showing the sharp acceleration in India’s renewable energy expansion.

👉 India became the second-largest solar growth market in 2025 by adding 37 GW, behind only China, which remained far ahead with 315 GW of solar capacity addition. (That's Massive for China)

2. Growth Market Does Not Mean Total Capacity Leadership

👉 Students should be very clear about this distinction. India has become the second largest solar growth market, which means it ranked high in terms of new capacity added during the year.

👉 However, in terms of total installed solar capacity, the United States is still ahead of India. The article mentions that the US had 211.6 GW of cumulative installed solar capacity in 2025, while India had 135.5 GW.

👉 India's cumulative installed solar capacity 154 GW as of April 2026.

👉 So, India is growing faster in annual additions, but it has not yet overtaken the US in total installed solar capacity.
