Dear Future Officers,

A small but important message from Team Chapterss.

Since the RBI Annual Report is out, many institutes have started conducting sessions, marathons, summaries and revision classes. We understand how overwhelming this phase can become for you.

One video says β€œmost important”.
Another says β€œmust watch”.
Another says β€œdon’t miss before exam”.

And slowly, preparation starts turning into panic.

This is the final stretch of RBI Grade B Phase 1. This is not the time to run behind every marathon. This is the time to protect your confidence, your energy, and your revision flow.

Please fix your revision sources. Fix your teachers. Fix your revision path.

Whether you study from Chapterss or from any other teacher you trust, stay consistent with that source. Do not break your rhythm by jumping from one YouTube session to another.

At this stage, too many sources will not make you more prepared. They may only make you more anxious.

Our honest suggestion is simple:

πŸ‘‰ Choose limited sources.
πŸ‘‰ Revise them deeply.
πŸ‘‰ Practice consistently.
πŸ‘‰ Trust your preparation.

Every genuine teacher and every genuine institute wants students to do well. But in these final days, your focus and stability matter the most.

πŸ‘‰ So please, do not panic.
πŸ‘‰ Do not run everywhere.
πŸ‘‰ Do not compare every session.

You have worked hard till now. Protect that hard work with focus, not fear.

With you, Always!

Dear Students,

This RBI poster is not just a warning image.

It is about a very serious banking and cybercrime concept: Money Mule Accounts.

Many people think, β€œI am only letting someone use my bank account, what can go wrong?” But that one mistake can link your account to fraud, illegal fund transfers and even police investigation.

Read today’s Quick Decode below.
⚑ Chapterss Quick Decode | Episode 18

1. What Is a Money Mule?

πŸ‘‰ A money mule is a person who transfers, receives or moves illegally acquired money on behalf of someone else. In simple words, if a fraudster uses your bank account to receive or transfer stolen money, your account becomes part of the illegal money trail.

πŸ‘‰ You may think you are only helping someone or earning easy money, but legally your bank account is being used for suspicious or criminal financial activity.

2. What Is a Mule Account?

πŸ‘‰ A mule account is a bank account used to route illegal money.

πŸ‘‰ Fraudsters often request people to β€œreceive money and forward it further” in return for commission. Sometimes they target students, job seekers or financially vulnerable people by offering easy income. For example, someone may receive a message saying, β€œUse your bank account to receive payments for our company and keep 5% commission before transferring the rest,” but in reality the money could be linked to online fraud or scams.

πŸ‘‰ But once illegal money enters your account, your account details become part of the investigation trail.

That is why RBI’s message is very clear:

Your Bank Account = Your Money

πŸ‘‰ Do not allow anyone else to use it.

3. Why Is This Dangerous?

πŸ‘‰ Allowing others to use your bank account for money transfer can land you in serious trouble. Even if you did not commit the original fraud, your account may be used to hide or move proceeds of crime.

πŸ‘‰ This can lead to account freezing, police inquiry, legal complications and reputational damage.

πŸ‘‰ So, β€œeasy money” is never worth the risk.

4. What Should You Never Do?

πŸ‘‰ Never let anyone use your bank account for transferring money. Never allow others to receive or forward money through your account.

πŸ‘‰ Never share your bank details, OTPs, passwords, UPI PIN or debit card information. If someone asks to use your account in exchange for commission, treat it as a red flag.

Chapterss Takeaway:
A bank account is not just a payment tool; it is a legally traceable financial identity. Never let anyone use your account to receive or transfer money, because a small commission can turn into a serious legal risk.

πŸ‘‰ The scale of the problem is serious. Recent reports around cyber-fraud crackdowns have referred to nearly 8.5 lakh mule bank accounts being detected/frozen, which is why RBI and law-enforcement agencies are increasingly focusing on Multiple tools to identify suspicious accounts faster.

Message of Mentor (MoM)
Topic: Pressure Training

We all know that the pressure on the actual examination day is very different. In mocks, we may feel comfortable, but in the real exam, even a few wasted minutes can create panic.

So, here is one practical technique we would strongly advise you to try.

Open any moderate to tough RBI Grade B Phase 1 mock. Not an easy mock, choose a paper that genuinely tests you. Now, instead of using the full sectional time, try to finish the sections slightly earlier:

GA: 20 minutes instead of 25 minutes
Quant: 20 minutes instead of 25 minutes
English: 20 minutes instead of 25 minutes
Reasoning: around 40 minutes instead of 45 minutes

The idea is simple: in the actual exam, some time may get wasted because of pressure, scrolling, doubt, anxiety, or difficult questions. So, if you train yourself to perform well even with 5 minutes less in every section, you will become mentally stronger for the final day.

If you are able to score well under reduced time, your confidence will increase massively. More importantly, you will understand how to think faster, skip smarter, and handle the ticking clock without panic.

Remember, the exam does not only test knowledge. It also tests your calmness, speed, decision-making, and pressure-handling ability.

β€œDon’t wait for exam day to test your pressure-handling ability. Create that pressure today, and train yourself to win inside it.

However, if you feel that this technique is not working for you, or it is unnecessarily increasing your anxiety, please avoid it and follow your normal mock-taking strategy. The purpose is to build confidence, not to create extra panic.

You can also customise this strategy according to your comfort level. For example, you may reduce around 10% of the total time allotted to each section and practise accordingly. The objective is to gradually train your mind and improve your ability to perform under controlled pressure.
