Today, after the SEBI Grade A results, we received messages from several successful students, including a few who secured excellent ranks. We are genuinely happy for each one of them and wish them the very best.
However, this message is not about toppers.
It is about how you choose your mentors.
In today’s education space, you will find the same topper associated with multiple platforms. There is nothing wrong with that. Every student has the freedom to share their journey wherever they wish.
But as an aspirant, your decision should not be influenced only by ranks, discounts, or marketing.
The real question is:
“Does this teacher help me understand the subject? Does this platform genuinely improve my preparation?”
A topper’s journey is inspiring, but your preparation should be guided by good teaching, structured content, and consistent mentorship not by promotional banners.
So, before investing in any course, don’t make a decision after watching one advertisement or one success story. Attend a few classes, evaluate the teaching, compare the quality of content, and then invest with confidence.
Choose learning, not marketing.
The right guidance will eventually help you write your own success story.

Virat Kohli may admire MS Dhoni for leading India to major ICC trophies, while MS Dhoni may admire Virat Kohli for his consistency, fitness and exceptional batting ability.
The same thing happens in our lives. You may look at someone else and feel that they are more talented, successful, confident or fortunate. At the same time, that person may be looking at you and appreciating the qualities, opportunities or life that you have.
This is why we say: “The grass always looks greener on the other side.”
Do not underestimate yourself by constantly comparing your journey with someone else’s. Everyone has something special, and everyone is also struggling with something that may not be visible to others.
Instead of focusing on what others have, recognise what you already possess and work patiently on what you want to build.
Your journey is different, your timeline is different, and your strengths are different. Keep improving not to become someone else, but to become the best version of yourself.
