What are torrents and how to use them to download files

a Torrent is a peer to peer network for sharing files between users or it's a network where users Share files stored on their PC's with each other

With that said this exchange involves two parties those who have the file and are sharing it using a Torrent file they are called seeders and those who are downloading the files via a Torrent client called leeches

So the more the seeders( those who have the file and are sharing it via a Torrent client )
The faster the downloading the file is

So how does it happen
a user shares a file on his PC via a Torrent client using a magnetic link and others click that magnetic link to initiate the download of the file shared by another person Torrent client to download small parts of the file until it's all done

Usually all files are acceptable but most people use it to download large files like games application and movies

Advantages of using Torrents

Depending on the number of seeders and your downloads are super fast I have seen downloads at 3.4 mb/s in a Torrent client
No registration annoying ads
It's straight forward
Etc

Disadvantages
Files with few seeders can be very slow
Some files contain malware
If no seeder is active it's impossible to download the file

Always pick files with many seeders
Always make.sure u have a serious anti virus when dealing with torrents

it returns The search results

The more the number of seeders the better you can see solid works 2020 has 513 so to initiate the download press the magnetic icon 🧲

See it asks we wc torrent client to use I have already installed u torrent so I select it and volla the download starts

Specify the location and select ok to start your file download
