దేశంలో జమిలి ఎన్నికలకు మాజీ రాష్ట్రపతి రామ్‌నాథ్‌ కోవింద్‌ నేతృత్వంలోని ఉన్నత స్థాయి కమిటీ చేసిన సిఫార్సులకు కేంద్రం ఆమోద ముద్ర వేయడంతో ఈ దిశగా ముందడుగు పడినట్లయింది. గతంలో జమిలిపై నివేదికను రాష్ట్రపతికి అందజేయడంతో బుధవారం వాటిని కేంద్ర క్యాబినెట్‌ ఆమోదించింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో నివేదికలోని 10 ముఖ్యాంశాలను ఒకసారి చూద్దాం..

జమిలి ఎన్నికల కోసం ప్రభుత్వం ఒక ప్రత్యేక న్యాయ రక్షణ యంత్రాంగాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేయాలి.

తొలి దశలో లోక్‌సభ, అసెంబ్లీలకు ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహించాలి.

రెండో దశలో కార్పొరేషన్లకు, మున్సిపాలిటీలకు, గ్రామ పంచాయతీలకు ఎన్నికలు జరపాలి. ఇవి లోక్‌సభ, అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికలు జరిగిన 100 రోజుల్లోగా పూర్తి కావాలి.

ఏకకాల ఎన్నికల కోసం లోక్‌సభ తొలిసారి సమావేశమైన తేదీని అపాయింటెడ్‌ డేగా రాష్ట్రపతి గుర్తించాలి.

అపాయింటెడ్‌ డే ఆధారంగా అసెంబ్లీల పదవీ కాలాన్ని గుర్తించాలి.

హంగ్‌ సభలు ఏర్పాటైనప్పుడుగానీ, అవిశ్వాస తీర్మానాలప్పుడుగానీ లోక్‌సభకు తాజా ఎన్నికలను నిర్వహించాలి.

లోక్‌సభకు మధ్యంతర ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహించాల్సి వస్తే ఐదేళ్లలో మిగిలిపోయిన కాలానికే ఆ సభ కొనసాగేలా చూడాలి.

అసెంబ్లీలు రద్దయినా లోక్‌సభ పదవీ కాలంతోపాటు మిగిలిన కాలానికే అవి కొనసాగాలి.

రాష్ట్ర ఎన్నికల సంఘాలతో కలిసి ఒకే ఫొటో గుర్తింపు కార్డును కేంద్ర ఎన్నికల సంఘం జారీ చేయాలి.

ఎన్నికల సామగ్రి, ఈవీఎంలు, వీవీ ప్యాట్లు, పోలింగ్‌ సిబ్బందిని సమకూర్చుకోవడంపై ఎన్నికల సంఘం ముందస్తు ఏర్పాట్లు చేసుకోవాలి.

Centre for Rural Enterprise Acceleration through Technology (CREATE)

Recently, the union Minister for Ministry of Micro,Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) inaugurated the Centre for Rural Enterprise Acceleration through Technology (CREATE) setup at Leh through virtual mode.

✅It will enhance local productivity, product quality, and economic potential and improve livelihoods for the local communities.
✅It will help advance rural industrialization and foster enterprise creation, to retain the traditional artisans particularly in regions like Ladakh.
✅CREATE will provide
A Pashmina Wool Roving Facility.
✅Training for development of production facility for Essential Oil Extraction from Roses and Other Flowers and Training for development of production facility for Bio-processing of available fruits and other raw materials.
✅The machinery required for Pashmina wool roving has been installed, commissioned and is ready for operation.

🔆Exercise AIKYA

✅Recently, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), in collaboration with the Southern Command of the Indian Army organised a two-day national symposium, ‘Exercise AIKYA’, on disaster management in Chennai.
✅Aikya, meaning "Oneness" in Tamil, reflects the exercise's aim to integrate India's Disaster Management community.
✅It brought together key stakeholders from across Peninsular India to enhance disaster preparedness and response capabilities.
✅The exercise witnessed participation from six southern states/UTs: Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Puducherry

🔆INSPIRE – MANAK Programme

✅Recently, the 11th National Level Exhibition and Project Competition (NLEPC) of INSPIRE– MANAK winners felicitation ceremony was held in New Delhi.

📍INSPIRE – MANAK Programme:

✅The INSPIRE – MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspiration and Knowledge) is one of the flagship schemes of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India.
✅It is for nurturing ideas and innovations of school students and motivates them to pursue science and a career in research.
✅It is jointly implemented by DST and the National Innovation Foundation (NIF) – India.
✅It aims to motivate students in the age group of 10-15 years and studying in classes 6 to 10 to become future innovators and critical thinkers.
