The Securities and Exchange Board of India was established on April 12, 1992 in accordance with the provisions of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992.
As per the section 4 of IRDAI Act 1999, Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) was constituted (in 2000) by an act of parliament, Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act 1999.

The 2nd Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) Foreign Ministersβ Retreat will begin today in New Delhi. The External Affairs Ministry has informed that External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will host his BIMSTEC counterparts at the event.
the two day event will provide an opportunity for the groupingβs members to broaden and deepen cooperation across sectors including in the fields of security, connectivity, trade and investment in the Bay of Bengal region and littoral areas.
