β The SEHER program aims to empower women entrepreneurs in India with financial literacy and business skills. It focuses on improving awareness about accessing and managing credit, helping women entrepreneurs grow their businesses and contributing to economic development.
β India has 63 million micro, small, and medium enterprises, with 20% owned by women, employing 27 million people. Accelerating womenβs entrepreneurship could create over 30 million new women-owned enterprises and 150 to 170 million more jobs.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India was established on April 12, 1992 in accordance with the provisions of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992.
As per the section 4 of IRDAI Act 1999, Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) was constituted (in 2000) by an act of parliament, Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act 1999.
The Pension Fund Regulatory Development Authority (PFRDA) Act was passed in September, 2013 and the same was notified on 1st February, 2014. PFRDA regulates the National Pension System, subscribed by employees of Govt. of India, State Governments and by employees of private institutions, self-employed professionals and unorganized sectors.

The 2nd Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) Foreign Ministersβ Retreat will begin today in New Delhi. The External Affairs Ministry has informed that External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will host his BIMSTEC counterparts at the event.
