✨ Backup Anything

Remember, currently there is no way to prevent your chat partner clearing the private chat with you.

Tips: Take screenshots or export chat via TDesktop if you have important conversation to backup.
• Telegram Desktop » Settings » Advanced » Export Telegram data » Personal chats

If you want to export only a single chat, follow these steps.

Open the chat in TDesktop > click three dot on the upper right corner > choose export chat history > select things you want to export—also set the file slider to the max > start > go get a beer while it's doing its job > show my data

Your files should be in files folder.

In order to see nearby groups, Click contacts > nearby groups and it’ll display a list of groups within 10km of your location.
The existing group doesn't have location feature, so if your group want to be visible as a nearby group you have to create a new group and make it public. Where you will get an option to add your location

The latest telegram provides us an option to transfer group or channel ownership to other admins. The creator can do the same by the following steps. Go to group/channel info, choose edit option on the top right, choos administrators, long press the admin to which you need to transfer the ownership and choose transfer ownership. Note. That person should have all the admins permission then only he can be the new owner.

Telegram beta 5.9 for Android is now come to live. this update mainly focuses on the support of animated sticker pack'ss and ability to choose the distance unit in nearby groups and contact section. Unfortunately none of the accessibility related bugs are fixed in this beta.

The file size and downloading progress are now accessible with latest telegraph. Select the file first, choose add to download queue, go to download manager from the main menu and start downloading. It will say the file size and downloading progress. #tg_tip, #telegraph

سلام. به دلیلِ اسپم زیاد از طرف کاربران ایرانی، تلگرام به کاربران ایرانی فقط اجازه عضو شدن در گروه‌های عمومی ( پابلیک) را می‌دهد. اگر سازنده گروه عمومی غیرایرانی باشد شما فقط می‌توانید پیام‌های آن گروه را بخوانید و نمی‌توانید به گروه پیام بفرستید. توجه داشته باشید این محدودیت از سمت خود تلگرام می‌باشد و ادمین‌های گروه کاری نمی‌توانند انجام بدهند.
با شماره ایران می‌توانید گروه عمومی بسازید. در گروه‌های عمومی که سازنده‌اش ایرانی باشد می‌توانید پیام بفرستید.

Unfortunately, due to overwhelming amounts of spam, users from Iran currently can join some public groups in READ-ONLY mode. They cannot send messages.

• If the creator of the public group is non Iranian, Iranian users can read the chat and they cannot send messages.

‼️ Pay attention this restriction is from Telegram side, admins of the group haven't done anything about it and cannot solve it.

• With your Iranian account, you can create a public group, and you can send messages to the public group chats that have been created by an Iranian account.

Plus Messenger has updated to the latest telegram source code. Users can update it from Play Store

Bot API 4.4 has arrived.

- Added support for animated stickers.
- Added support for default permissions in any groups.
- Added support for descriptions and invite links in basic groups.
- All webhook requests from the Bot API are now coming from the subnets 149.154.160.0/20 and 91.108.4.0/22. Update your configuration if you control inbound access with a firewall.
- The next Bot API update (v.4.5) will allow nested MessageEntity objects, make sure your code can correctly handle such entities.
