Notification management on telegram account


Lots of telegram users complaining about overshooting of notification coming from overactive channels, Groups on telegram.

you can disable notification for channel, groups, Private chats in just one click and telegram users can also add exception to allow or disable notification from particular
selected group, channel, private chat in more convenient way. So users only get notified from the selected private chats, channels, groups.

My opinion for manage notification on Telegram & Telegram X for your telegram account. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

For telegram Classical client :

1)My recommendation is disable notification all for groups and channels first and then add exception for those important groups & channels from which you would like to receive notification. ( For that tap on add an exception)

2) enable notification just for private chat (note: bot notification also follow private chat notification settings; so by enabling private chat notification you also get notifications from bots. If you want to disable notification for bots then you need to do it by manually by muting bots one by one )

For telegram X

1) Reset all notification (setting>Notification> Tap on three dot icon at top right corner> Reset all notification) then disabled notification for groups and channel first and then unmute those group & channel from which you would like to receive notification (for unmute go to group/channel tap on three dot icon ant top left corner and tap on unmute then tap on enable notification Option)


2)enable notification just for private chat (note: bot notification also follow private chat notification settings so if you want to disable notification for bots you need to do it manually muting bots one by one)
