Born in 1840, Robert Wentworth Little acted as a clerk and cashier in the secretarial office of United Grand Lodge of England, and then became secretary of the Royal Institute for Girls. He was also the founder of the Ancient and Primitive Rite of Misraim.

Nicolas de Bonneville was initiated into Freemasonry in 1786 in England, he also wrote two books on Freemasonry, "Jesuits Expelled from Masonry", and "Dagger Shattered by the Masons", both in 1788.
Nicolas de Bonneville was also a prominent figure in the French Revolution, defended the interests of the poor, promoted the idea of equality and the universal redistribution of property and land. He was twice arrested for speaking out against the Jacobins. Before the events of the French Revolution, de Bonneville was engaged in literary activity, after - was a bouquiniste in Paris.

April 15, 1876, exactly 144 years ago, Arnoldo Krumm-Heller was born - German doctor, occultist, founder of Fraternitas Rosicruciana Antiqua (FRA). He was also an agent of German naval intelligence during the Mexican Revolution and the First World War. He is the author of 25 books on occult topics, novels, books on history, biographies, as well as many articles that he published in his magazin “Rosa Cruz”.
From the age of eighteen Krumm-Heller worked in Chile, Peru and Mexico, mainly as a scientist. There he began to study occult works, in particular, he familiarized himself with the works of Helena Blavatsky, Louis Claude de Saint-Martin, Papus and Eliphas Levi. During his life, Krumm-Heller joined several esoteric organizations. He also became the Bishop of the Gnostic Church. He was a Freemason of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, as well as the Ancient and Primitive Rite of Memphis-Mizraím.
Arnoldo Krumm-Heller died on April 19, 1949 in Marburg (Germany) in April 1949 at the age of 73.

John Yarker was born in Swindale, located in Westmoreland in northern England. He became a Freemason at the age of 21, was initiated into the Apprentice Degree in Manchester in the “Integrity” lodge No. 189. In 1862, he broke off his contacts with English Freemasonry, and in 1887 joined the “Quatuor Coronati” lodge No. 2076. In English Masonry he was disappointed by the lack of interest in esotericism among a significant number of brothers.
From Harry Seymour, John Yarker received the Rite écossais de Cerneau, which was then absorbed by Rite de Memphis. In 1881, Yarker received a charter on “Rite réformé de Misraïm de Pessina” (consisting of 33 degrees) in exchange for the Memphis charter.
Yarker was in correspondence with Papus and Theodor Reuss, and gave them charters for works on the Ancient and Primitive Rite of Memphis-Misraim in Germany and France.
Yarker’s authorship includes, among others, the following works: “The Kneph”, “The Arcane Schools”, “Scientific and Religious Mysteries of Antiquity”, “Freemasonry in Modern Times”, “Modern and ancient Freemasonry”, “The Magian Mysteries”.

On April 21, 1900, 120 years ago, the members of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn who were part of the Inner Order adopted a new constitution. The meeting was attended by 22 people, it took place in London. Two days earlier, they expelled from the Order Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers.

On April 23, 1908, exactly 112 years ago, Charles Henry Allan Bennett (“Iehi Aour” (“Let there be light!”)), a member of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, returned to England after a journey of eight years. He studied Buddhist practices in Ceylon, hoping to recover from asthma, and studied hatha yoga, pranayama and meditation. He also visited Burma, where he became a Buddhist monk under the name "Ananda Metteya" ("Blissfulness of Kindness"). In 1903, Bennett established the International Buddhist Society. Returning to England, Bennett wanted to continue to travel, but the deterioration in health prevented his plans, he lived in England until his death, which occurred on March 9, 1923. A few days before his death, he left the Buddhist Society he created.
